Will Glasgow get away 'scott' free with a payback win, or are the Cardinals 'taylor' made for a district title?

The Scotties routed Adair County in Round 1, while the Cardinals sat at home with a bye into the district championship. When the two met in Week 6, Taylor emerged with a mildly surprising three score win. Glasgow has looked strong since that loss, going 3-0 and scoring at a clip of 45 points per game, while leaning heavily on the run game. The Scotties averaged 138 rushing yards per game through their first five contests, but have significantly upped their production in the ground game of late, averaging 345 yards per outing since the loss to Taylor County.

The Cardinals know a thing or two about running the football. They boast 3A's leading rusher, Wes Oliver, who is sure to leave his stamp on this game. Taylor County also possesses one of the class' stingiest defenses. They've only allowed twenty or more points twice in eight games.

Taylor County by 10.

Glasgow had a freshman quarterback in his first start the last time these two played and was trying to break in a complete new system after losing junior quarterback John Carter Myers. The Scotties have really improved as well as that freshman quarterback so I would look for a much closer game and I think Glasgow pulls it out 28-21.

I'm taking Taylor County in this game.  Glasgow has a group of good running backs, but I'll take Wes Oliver and the Cardinals over the Scotties 35 to 28.
