Smart move. No need to risk injury in this jacked up season. As a season ticket holder, I enjoyed watching Hawk play. Good luck in the draft!

This is the right move for him, no doubt.  I have a question though.

When you sign your letter of intent or you scholarship papers, what does it say as to the players commitment to completing the scholarship year?  I think scholarships are on an annual basis.

I'm not trying to hold kids back or anything, but thinking on the schools behalf.  UofL offered this young man a scholarship and the coaches anticipated having him around for the year.  I just hate that this is becoming a trend and you lose a significant # of players for the end of the year and bowl games.
