East Carter has had to shut down all football operations for 2 weeks after a player test positive for COVID yesterday. So their game this Friday vs Greenup Co. and the Oct. 23 game with Russell will not be played as of now for sure.

Ugh...

Expect more of this as cases continue to climb.

That's true at East Carter is shutting down due to a actual player testing positive.

At least its not for some stupid map that is not connected to the team.

Soccer district's started this week and I know Morgan Co. girls and guys have played all season and because they are as of Sunday in the Red those kids are out of post season play and to my knowledge with no one on either team having tested positive for the virus.

Red = 25/100,000=.00025

 

Yellow= 10/100,000= .00010

 

The difference in shutdown and "good" is .00015??

 

I will admit.... I don't understand. Can someone explain it?

Me either coach that's what I was saying to Morgan's AD we are not in the red here in Fayette and probably would have 10 times as many cases as Morgan or Elliott counties and they are in the red. I hate it for the kids they have no cases on any of their sport teams but they are unable to participate. I hope how soon this is all behind us.
