With the board shutting down the athletic programs, what will happen now as there are not enough dates to make up the games? Can a school play two games in a week? Maybe a Tuesday and Saturday?

If can’t be made up will go as win and loss on Win % of RPI.

Being in this district I have ask about multiple games in a week. This is not allowed. From my understanding if a game can not be made up the the highest RPI team will get a win and the lesser RPI will get a lose. This will not go on the teams record but just will be used for seeding.

I believe for RPI a game cancelled by COVID is counted as a tie with equal points to each team. Is the Hopkins County situation being treated differently?

I think you’re right. It’s equal points. However, if Team A and Team B are tied for a playoff spot but didn’t play each other, then RPI is the tiebreaker.

Anything new on this topic? Will they ever get to play?
