This is the Douglass everyone was expecting. I think the more snaps Cornett gets more comfortable with the offense and his speed on the outside.

    Ballard will be no threat to Trinity in district play.

    The Douglass D holds Ballard on a 4th down at the Douglass 1 yard line. Douglass still leads 34-7 with just over 11 minutes to play.

    Kentucky signee Jager Burton picks off a Ballard pass and runs it 28 yards for a touchdown to make it 49-21 Douglass with 1:19 to play.
