June 2, 20206 yr I once attended a half-day basketball “camp” headed up by Leroy Ellis and Unseld (his first year with the Bullets). My first impression was that I had never seen a taller man and a bigger man at the same time in the same place. Unseld was the master of the outlet pass and a deserving member of the HOF. RIP.
June 2, 20206 yr Author Best ever born in Kentucky, right? You might get an argument from the Dave Cowens crowd or even some Darrell Griffith fans. But he’s on the real short list for sure.
June 3, 20206 yr You might get an argument from the Dave Cowens crowd or even some Darrell Griffith fans. But he’s on the real short list for sure. You've got Hagan and Ramsey also.
June 3, 20206 yr I'd have Unseld at the top of the list, followed in no particular order by Hagan, Cowens, Ramsey, Griffith, Butch Beard, Rex Chapman, Allan Houston, and Rajon Rondo. Toss in Joe Fulks from Murray State, who is an old timer, but led the league in scoring twice and is a Hall of Famer.
