Fort Thomas schools elementary teacher arrested on child porn charges

The Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting a Fort Thomas Independent Schools fifth grade teacher has been arrested.

Fussinger was also the head freshman baseball coach at Highlands High School.

This part of the story sums it up: “Every defendant accessing child pornography is cause for concern,” Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders said. “But one with direct access to children is extremely alarming.”

Every day I read about people arrested for porn and/or sexual assault and abuse. Every day. Hammer down on these people.

Fussinger was also at one time the head coach of Dayton baseball.

Apparently, Fussinger was released after posting bond a few hours after being arrested. Kenton County District Attorney Rob Sanders not happy at all. WXIX has a story on their site. This will be an interesting one to watch. Hopefully there's nothing else sinister behind what has been uncovered already.

I suspect it would scare the heck out of us if we knew the true number of people who are involved in this kind of thing.
