Howard Fleming led the Bulldogs to a 14-point lead at the end of first quarter and Ballard was never able to get back into the game, the lead being between 8-15 the rest of the way. First trip to the state tournament for Male since 2002. I expect Male to represent the Seventh Region well in the state tournament.

I will be surprised if Male doesn’t win it all. Since Howard Fleming’s return they have been nearly unstoppable.

Male is 6-0 in games against state tournament teams - Fern Creek, McCracken County, Collins (twice), Madisonville, Covington Catholic. And all but one of those wins were without Howard Fleming.

Since no sweet 16, to me, this was state championship. Male should get regional championship rings in this unprecedented year. Won highest Level game they could play.
