What: 8th Region Tournament Round 1

Where: Henry County HS, New Castle, KY

The 12th-ranked Oldham County Colonels (28-3), the champions of the 29th district, face the runner-ups from the 30th, the Woodford County Yellowjackets (17-15) in the first round of the boys' 8th Region tournament.

Oldham will seek to avenge a 71-66 loss to Woodford County on 12/21/2019. It was one of just 2 Oldham County losses to KY teams.

The Colonels have won 19 of 20 games coming into the tournament.

Woodford has righted the ship after an injury to star center Hunter Penn. The Jackets upset Spencer County in the first round of the 30th district tournament to advance to the region tournament in their first season in the 8th Region.

Will the underdog Yellowjackets, confident after beating Oldham in December, defeat Oldham again?

Or will the revenge-minded Colonels erase the memory of that loss with a victory?

Live video coverage begins at 6 pm ET.

Great game great atmosphere!!!

Came to watch this game tonight and it was a very physical game. It was a really good one. Only thing negative I have is I had to sit down towards the end and a few Oldham County young men decided to say some really bad things towards the end of the game towards Tabor. All about talking trash, but come on. Have a little class when you are winning fans! Hope the next game is as good as this one was
