Henry actually had a pretty good first half.

Henry gave a gallant effort against a group of superior athletes. If the Wildcats could have made this a half-court game, they would have had a much greater chance at pulling the upset. The Cats were superior on the inside; Trevor Hardin with 25 points and 15 rebounds for Henry.

 

But Collins played a boatload of players, keeping legs fresh, and forcing the tempo to their liking. A uptempo game was not something Henry County could handle tonight.

 

Collins is playing with a chip on their collective shoulders... that 30th district tourney was supposed to be a close, nail-biter, grind-it-out kind of tournament....it was anything but as the Titans won by 17 points and 21 points. They followed that with the rout tonight of a pretty good Henry County team.
