Augusta playing contentious basketball, but also experiencing some hard luck in this run of close encounters recently.

This was a game that the Panthers should have won in regulation. I've been told there is video of the last shot that did not beat the buzzer although it was called that way. From my view it looked like he beat the clock. I'll have to check out the video. Bottom line, you go 10-20 from the line and get out rebounded 36-22 you're going to lose close games. Augusta is trending in the wrong direction for this time of year. We're running out of time to make adjustments and get better. After close encounters with Brossart and Montgomery County it's like the wheels have fallen off. There are 4 games left to get it all straight (Scott, @ Villa, Lewis Co., Ludlow) before facing St. Patrick on February 24th in Brooksville on opening night of the 39th district tournament.
