No way Cumberland is 7.I'd say 3 or 4.They're better than Clay,North,& Jackson.I think Cumberland,Bell, and Corbin are about the same.Bell has the upperhand at this point by beating both of them,but Cumberland was beating them for most of the game and Corbin was right whit them too so I'd say they are about the same.

Why is everyone putting Cumberland so low?They was up on Bell by 11 late in the 3rd quarter before Junior Center Desmond Johnson had to sit due to foul trouble.Cumberland plays Clay next week so that should be a good game to see who the #3-4 team is.

Cumberland has played a WEAK schedule...it will come back to burn them in the long run.

Cumberland has a 10-game district schedule, plus the All "A," so that locks in about half the schedule. They play just about every good team in the 13th though, besides South and North.

 

I can also see why they would be rated below the top five, even though I'd put them fourth or fifth now. After several losing seasons, you have to really impress people to get noticed. Games against Clay and Corbin will provide those kind of opportunities later.

So, if you believe you can contend for a regional crown, why not play a harder schedule to prepare yourself? I understand about the games being locked up because of All 'A' and the district games, but the 13th Region isn't as strong as it used to be by a long run...Granted, I still believe Cumberland will make some noise, but I also believe not playing a tough schedule could hurt the Redskins.

But, I could be wrong.

Cumberland's size and defensive pressure could be key in this game.

HDE,was there any games in Harlan County tonight?I know Cumberland/Middlesboro was postponed till tomorrow.
