Yeah their defense seems underappreciated, imo. Their defense will carry them in games where they don't shoot well, for the most part. If they're hitting their shots on top of that they're hard to beat.

 

One of the big things with this Ashland team that doesn't get mentioned very often is how young they are. Freshmen and sophomores essentially.

It has. Mainly due to Ashlands lack of size. They do really well for their size though, but it will be their achilles heel. They have had been in foul trouble though. You'd have to watch some of their other games to really appreciate them. Judging them off from one game with Trinity doesn't tell ya much.

Crazy stat of the night: Russell had nearly as many turnovers (23) as they had shot attempts (26).
