Final from the first game of the King of the Bluegrass.

Marcellus Vail’s old-fashioned 3-point play with 8.1 seconds left in overtime lifts the Titans to victory. Trinity unable to get a shot off before the final buzzer sounded.

Another close game for the Shamrocks. Victories have been hard to come by so far but I am encouraged by them playing Collins tough.......reportedly the best team in the 8th region.

Nice win for the Titans.

I'm surprised by this score. Would have expected a more comfortable win for Collins. Looks like Collins was up 7 at half; Trinity must have played a solid second half and OT.

I walked into the gym in the middle of the second quarter and Trinity had either three or four freshmen on the floor. They will continue to get better. I have not seen any stats, but it didn't seem that Vail was getting much done. That is, until he won the game at the end of the overtime.
