That's my question, they usually have quality athletes, curious how they are predicted to finish. And where is it played?

It is at Ironton. I believe Ashland's first 8 games are on the road due to the constrution going on at Blazer. GIAT is that info correct?

Ironton lost to NCH in the state championship game two years ago. At that time, the Tigers had Gagai and Waginger, two all staters and recipients of good D-1 scholarships. Those two and whatever other talent Ironton had at the time, including coach Roger Zornes, are long gone. Ironton is still a football school. Ashland should win with very little trouble. Ironton is probably another Rock Hill. Nonetheless, wins are wins.

Gagai did not receive a schlorship.

I think that scoring 83 points and shooting 62% from the field, for a team that has only had all its players 3 weeks qualifies as a hot start. It does for me atleast, and thats really all that matters. ;)

You are correct on the 83 points but according to the Daily Independent Ashland shot 54.5%(36/66) from the field. However the point you were making is well understood.I expect Ironton to exert a great deal of pressure on the guards. This game could be a track meet as Ironton will want to push the ball as much as Ashland.

Think about this:Ashland only avg. 55 pts. per game last year.Friday they scored 53 without even including the scoring totals from their two best players(McDavid 16,Thomas 13).

:thumb: There is some discrepancy between the radio stats and the ADI stats. Radio had 62%, so obviously that is the one I use. :thumb:
