So Meyer is a classless jerk for getting his team in the National Title? Do they not have just as much right to be in that game as UM? Michigan had there chance and couldn't get it done. Plain and simple. And for the record I still think Michigan is better then Florida and I believe Florida will get there butts handed to them.

They do have just as much of a case as anyone. Meyer is classless because he whined and pleaded for votes. On the other hand, Carr took the high road and said he wouldn't campaign to get in. Which do you think is the proper example for intercollegiant sports? Read the Forde article if you like, but I'm just glad that UM doesn't get down on their knees for anyone, regardless of circumstance.

I respect you and your dad's passion. :thumb: I know what it's about, I grew up in OH, just north of Cincy. IMO, had the Big 10 been better this year, UM would have gotten (& deserved) another shot at OSU.

I'm fine with UF getting in. I just don't like the way it all went down. If UF was the better team, fine, make them that right after UM lost to OSU. They didn't, and now have to deal with this. You have to admit that it looks somewhat fishy. And thank you for your kind words about myself and my father. I have been to 8 UM/OSU games, and every time I go, I swear it was the greatest!

I did read the article and I believe Forde was right on for most of his points. However, Meyer did not come off as whining to me. Maybe he shouldn't have taken the road he did and I commend Carr for not going down that path. But I would call Meyer classless or label him as whining. Classless would have been taking shots at Michigan or any other school in front of him to gain votes and he didn't do that.

HONESTLY - I don't see it that way. What I saw was UF beating a Top 10 team on a neutral field, and improving its ranking. Very understandable to me.

To get back on topic I feel the SEC should go some where in the 5-4 / 6-3 range. I voted 6-3.

I'm fine with UF getting in.

BUAHAHAHA. I believe there's about 200 posts you've made that beg to differ.

If UF was the better team, fine, make them that right after UM lost to OSU.

So beating Arkansas can't possibly change ANYONEs opinion of Florida?

It did mine. I thought Arkansas would beat Florida, but I was wrong. Before the game I would not have said they Florida was the #2 team. Now they have AT LEAST as good an argument as Michigan.

I really wonder how hard the Michigan fans would be campaiging for OSU had UM won the first game and OSU was getting left out in the cold.

I don't see many OSU supporters crowding around us now. And honestly, I'm fine with Florida being in, I really am. Do I like it? Of course not, what self-respecting fan likes it when they don't get to go to the big dance. Could I accept it? Sure. Both teams have strong cases to get in. My beef is about how it all transpired. So by your logic with Arkansas, if USC wins, UF is in right? Because the Ark. win meant that much? I don't buy it.

Wins:

Florida

LSU

Tennessee

South Carolina

Alabama
