DeSales 53 Trinity 52

Desales played a terrible first half. Lot of turnovers. I think down 13 at half and came out to start second half just as bad! Down by I believe 17 when they finally started playing. Got hot and turned up the defense. Trinity well coached and will win their fair share of games. Have some nice young players but no big star power(yet). You can tell they have come up through the system.

Ethan Hodge starting for The Rocks this year?

Trinity has one senior on its roster who saw limited playing time last year, scoring a total of 39 points. A majority of the players in their rotation came through the Catholic school system, which may differ from their stronger teams in the past. I expect they'll improve through the course of the year, but a top-10 preseason ranking was pretty aggressive.

I totally agree with this. Trinity returned no starters and only one player who played a significant role last year. They will get better, but they are playing a lot of players without much varsity experience.

I am looking forward to seeing DeSales play this year. The Sixth Region is going to be very competitive this season.

Trinity was ranked #3 in the BGP 7th Region Preview and 15th in the BGP Preseason(I stress Preseason) Rankings which was far behind Male and Ballard. Because they are Trinity they will always get the benefit of the doubt. More often than not the 3rd best team in the 7th Region is usually worthy of the 15 spot in a preseason poll.

Does Trinity have any football players that are not with the team yet?
