Is the Corbin win over Lafayette all the Redhounds needed to get back on track?

Featured Replies

The Redhounds started the season off with 2 wins, defeating Whitley County 35-21 and Notre Dame TN 35-17 but then hit a snag losing the next 2 games, Pulaski County 23-22, Beechwood 26-10.

The Redhounds traveled to Lexington on Friday to take on 6A Lafayette, as they were looking to get things turned around and back on track. Back on track they did as they rolled past the Generals 21-7.

With the remaining schedule the Redhounds have, was this win all it took to keep them on track or will this win over Lafayette lead to more losses?

I believe they roll on with wins. The Lafayette game score didn’t show how good Corbin played as it easily could have been a couple to 3 or 4 more scores but it is what it is. I’ll give a shout out to Lafayette’s number 99 as he is one of the best Defensive players in the state. Corbins defense is coming alive and I think they will hold there opponents to a limited amount of opportunities from here on out. The offense is maturing fast and getting better game by game. I see plenty more wins for these maturing Redhounds.

It was a win over a 1 win team. Depends on who Corbin has to play before we know if they’re getting better.

Their last 4 games get progressively more difficult each week.
