It’s truly amazing the 180 Georgia fans have done since this season started. They went from acting like Fields was never good enough to play at Georgia anyways and telling anyone who would listen how horrible of a passer he was at Georgia (despite completing 69% of his passes and not throwing a pick), to now they won’t even engage in conversation about him. They know Fields is special.

Yes I did see that. It was great!

Only thing we know for sure is Fields wasn’t good enough for Georgia/SEC.

 

Georgia coaches loved him, they just thought Fromm gave them a better chance to win at the time. Maybe Fromm was better reading coverages, better at film study, more mature as a leader...who knows why they ultimately chose to start Fromm instead of Fields.

 

As for the SEC there were probably 11 schools that would have loved to have him come in and would have started him immediately.

I tell ya what in 5 starts he’s sure learned how to read a defense and make throws. He’s far from a finished product though.

Just because it’s the same players doesn’t mean it’s the same team. Trevor Lawrence has been straight up mediocre this year. He was the best player on the field in that championship game. Trust me I’ve seen this act before. It’s called 2015 Ohio State. Same team, same players, mediocre play on the field.

 

Yes for sure. And Clemson definitely looks like they’re more like #5 or 6 for sure. I just think they have the easiest road to playoffs and are defending champions so they’ll get in. Whether that is right or wrong. Hopefully they wake up soon. I’d say Bama and Ohio State look like the toughest teams but this is early in the season. Clemson is always a little sleepy in first half of the year.
