Tigers move to 4-0 after winning hard fought game. St.X was up 7-0 early in 4Q. Moeller drove and tied it up. X punted then Moeller muffed punt and X recovered. X drove in from around M 25 and came down to 4th and 1 at goal when X ran it in to go up 14-7. Moeller on last drive had 4th and goal from the 15 but pass was broken up at goal line.

StX QB went out with a leg injury. He was on the sideline wearing a boot. Don’t know the extent of the injury. Hopefully just a mild sprain and the boot was strictly precautionary. Backup QB did a good job.

From what I've saw of backup he is good passer. Good to have two quality QB's. Will see how he does against DeSales froshmore team Thursday.

Went back and checked Moeller’s record since this only team played St.X close. This real good win. Moeller is 8-1 and has beat every GCL South team by 20pts or more. They have really good defense holding every opponent to 7pts or less except Lou St.X and Roger Bacon.

If this STX freshman class stays together, puts in the off-season work and develops some depth, it can be special. It will be interesting to see how this FR group will mesh with the current Sophomores in the future. A lot of talent in these 2 classes.

This is a really good group, and could do some really special things especially when you add in the 10th graders now. But as mentioned earlier, they must be a committed group in the off season and keep working on getting better.

The younger X skill position players look good in both grades 9 and 10. They must develop some linemen to be a truly well-rounded team. The future looks brighter though.
