Battle Ground Academy (TN) 35 Franklin-Simpson 16

Final score from Franklin, Tennessee.

Six teams out there chomping the bit to get their shot at the 0-4 Wildcats.

Their district is a combined 4-16 (including) so probably not.

The first half it looked like this was going to be a running clock game. FS came out and played its best football of the season in the second half. I am still optimistic about this FS team.

This, I think, will be the first time ever that FS and Russellville have played and neither has won a game.

Watched the entire BGA game and some of it twice. This is the best team FS has faced. Sorry Spartans. In spite of the final score this game convinced me that FS is going to see some success in 2019. The Cats were without three starters on the OL and one on the DL.

Not making any predictions but I do believe this FS team has a bright future.

Now that this is out of the way, here comes 5-straight wins for F-S.

That Glasgow game will be very telling to end the season.

One game at a time. This is a big week. Old rival Russellville comes to town for the FS Homecoming. A week long event that includes the entire town.

I would say that the East game may be tighter than you may expect.
