The moment you realize that this game takes on a special tone is when Central Hardin students during school today were briefed that Central Hardin fans cannot enter through he main gate on the Elizabethtown side but must enter through a side gate adjacent to the visitors side of the field. They were also told that there will be 3 entrances and that police or school officials will prevent Central Hardin fans from going to the Elizabethtown bleachers or side of the field. Should be a great environment! Hopefully nothing negative happens during this game.

Yes , there was an incident in 2014 that caused this rivalry to take a hiatus until now involving a former Central Hardin player. I think that the two school administrations are just being extra cautious to ensure there is no lingering bad blood from this incident. I know of former Central Hardin students that are coming back for this game out of interest.
