Lincoln County opens the season against Woodford County at the WPBK Death Valley Bowl in Stanford, Ky. Lincoln comes off its first winning season in years and has looked very balanced in their two opening scrimmages. Game time is 6:00 pm.

I am making the drive from Buckeye Lake, Ohio to catch this one again. I love the set up at this event, with the home team getting the early game. As for the game, I think with W.C. being a year older and so fast that they should present a huge problem for the home team. My prediction is 34-27 Visitors.

Lincoln Co. 34-21.

I wouldn't normally go this route. I think this is a decent Woodford team and finally have a couple of athletic pieces.

Woodford by a touchdown...
