Brady Quinn's performance and decisions in the first half have taken him out of consideration for the Heisman. Troy Smith was, IMO, already the clear choice. This game is just locking it up for him. I would still like to see ND pull this out, but the offense is going to have to step it up like the defense.

I wouldn't say it as much as Quinn, but more than his receivers #5 mostly has been dropping key 3rd passes that were huge....Then also though you got to hand it to the USC players they are making VERY NICE plays on the ball and knocking down GOOD passes...

Wow ND needed that first down, literally got it by the tip of the ball...

Come on ND you are still in it, but you need a TD here...

#5 KIND OF makes us for his drops, with a HUGE td catch on 4th down and goal...The score is now USC 28 ND 17... 2 minutes left in the third...

A USC TD here might wrap this game up.

ND holds USC to a field goal. So ND is still in this game down only 2 tds with still 11 minutes to go in the 4th quarter....

Notre Dame BADLY needs to come away with a TD on this drive. You can figure that they might get three more posessions, maybe as few as two.
