Log Mountain Boy
How many times does it have to be said that Wisconsin is not eligible for one of the at large bids? Also, Boise State is an automatic qualifier. You also left out the ACC champion. So that basically just leaves 1 more at-large spot Im assuming. 02Ram54
So that basically just leaves 1 more at-large spot Im assuming.6 Conference champions. 2 automatic qualifiers in Michigan and Boise State. That means there will be two at large bids, one of which will be Notre Dame. The other will be LSU, IMO, unless Notre Dame goes to the Rose Bowl, in which case it will be Louisville. If Florida ends up in the national championship game, wouldn't that open up another SEC team to get in?
Alabama Larry
Gators just got by Vandy and a down FSU team. Their nonconference wins don't help them much. Talking heads say this not me. Gators barely beat Bama in the swamp.

If Florida goes to the title game (which is basically impossible at this point) this is how it would break, written in stone: USC goes to the Rose Bowl as the Pac 10 champ. They get the first "pick" because they lost the #1 team to the title game, so they select Michigan and celebrate endlessly because they get a Big 11/Pac-10 game. Next, the Sugar Bowl gets to pick a replacement for Florida because their host went #2 in the title game and they also get they also hold the first selection pick independent of the title game. So they'll take Notre Dame and LSU. The Orange Bowl gets the ACC champion, and the next at large spot. However, all that are left are the Big East champion and Boise State. The Orange Bowl takes the Big East champion. The Fiesta Bowl gets the Big 12 Champion and Boise.

I heard that Florida would have to win convincingly next week by probably 3 or 4 TDs to make it to the National Title game, IF USC loses.
