I like both. I prefer Watermelon, but there’s nothing more disappointing than getting a bad watermelon. And I don’t care what anyone says, there is no foolproof method in picking out a watermelon.

Strawberries aren’t my favorite fruit, but I like them for their versatility, and really would rather have them as part of something, than eating them fresh by themselves.

Strawberries are best in jello and milkshakes. Watermelon is best alone. Case closed.

And for the love of all things holy, keep your salt off my melons.

Watermelon, but only by a nudge, standing alone. Berries if with something else, for example, pound cake.

I love them both by themselves, but I prefer strawberries just because watermelon are so messy. Back in the day when I first graduated from college, I got a job working in the produce department at Food City. We constantly cored watermelons for customers to try so they could decided whether or not to buy them. Any watermelons that were rejected, we cut in half or fourths and sold wrapped in cellophane. One guy came in and had us core six different watermelons. He didn't buy any of them.
