• National Security-Making sure we are able to protect ourselves from threats outside the nation. This includes very rigid enforcement of immigration laws as well as strict enforcement of our borders.
  
• Internal Security-Strict enforcement of our laws within our country with adequate punishment for breaking those laws.
  
• The Economy-Do whatever is necessary to insure that the US maintains a robust economy. Part of this would include curtailing the power that unions currently have by making ALL political activity by them illegal.
  
• Education-Make sure that any child that WANTS a good education is able to get one even if this involves vouchers for private schools

ALL, INCLUDING the national parties. You give straight to the candidates you support. Our system should encourage people to consider candidates and not blindly follow parties.

I would have to say that the number one issue facing us is inner city and gang violence. What is our national death toll due to this? I would say that it would be far, far greater than our troop losses overseas...

 

It seems to be the one issue that is on the news nightly, but very few people discuss it politically...

I think it might be a good idea to pick a topic and start a new thread to minimize clutter on this thread. If we think of some more topics, post them in here.
