January 26, 200719 yr Being a Bulls fan for a long, long time and as nice as it is that they are actually competitive again and playing well. They are a strange team, they could go to the playoffs this year and lose in the first round OR they could make it to the finals. Not that they would win the finals of course, but at least they would get there. Fun team to watch though, cept when they are blowing 20 point leads, which I believe they have done 3 or 4 times this month. Nice win tonight against Dallas, they will need that momentum going into yet another horridly long road trip.

The future season MVP of the league not starting...:sleep: With Yao unable to play, commissioner David Stern will choose a replacement for the West roster after the reserves are announced next week. Phoenix's Mike D'Antoni, who will coach the team, will decide who inherits Yao's starting spot. The coaches' reserve choices (two guards, two forwards, one center and two players regardless of position) will be announced Feb. 1. The West selections look good. All besides not starting Dirk over TMac. On the East side, you could argue that Jermaine O'Neal (Pacers - O'Neal leads the NBA in blocks)) deserves the spot over Bosh but then again Bosh is averaging 22 & 11 & has helped Tornoto win almost as many games at the midseason point as it did all last season (27). Also on the East side, Dwight Howard should be in before Shaq but we all know it's the fans choice & obviously Shaq is a huge fan favorite.

The Bulls led by 17 in the first quarter, never trailed, and were hardly threatened. When Dirk Nowitzki hit a 3-pointer to cut the Bulls' lead to three with 4:30 to play, Chicago coolly responded with a 17-7 rally to give the Mavs only their fifth loss in their last 40 games. Thus, Chicago added another impressive scalp to its collection. On the other hand, the win improved the Bulls to just 25-19, which is only fourth in the conference that some consider the worst in NBA history. Here, then, is a brief rundown of the reasons the Bulls are -- or aren't -- the best the East has right now.

Andersen is out of the league still for his drug violation last year. There is a chance maybe give of the guys you listed would think about doing the dunk contest. I think AI2 has already said he would not participate this year. I think JR Smith should try to pull the double, 3pt and dunk contest.

Greg Anthony, ESPN.com:The longer the season goes on, the more you would think that Miami would and should be the team to beat. Problem is, the more they play the more they lose! Yes, the Big Fella is back, but it's going to be awhile before he can even be on the floor for 30 minutes a night. Because of that, the only team that's defeated the Heat in the postseason since Shaq migrated east looks to be fine-tuning for another run to the Finals. So I won't be surprised to see the Pistons back in familiar territory, the NBA Finals. Chris Broussard, ESPN The Magazine: Honestly, I have to say the Miami Heat. January 27, 200719 yr Author The lakers got Odom back last night and then lost Walton when he turned his ankle in the 3rd. X-Rays were negative but he was on crutches after the game. They lost in over time to the Bobcats 106-97. They play 5 games in the next 7 days. Hopefully they can get hot.

Did you not see him dunk it 2 handed from the free-throw line and "move" it to the side in the Burger Game a few years ago. It was a top ten ever dunk. I used another word for move and word filter took it out. haha
