January 30, 200719 yr Author Last season Kobe didn't get the MVP because he wasn't making his teammates better. This year he won't get it because he isn't scoring 35 a game. Nash is a great player but in no way shape or form should he be put into the elite category of 3 straight MVP's.

About what he's got every year of his career... 53.7% from the field... Career high. 50% 3 point shooting... Career high. Whether he actually deserves to be in that elite category or not, if they gave it to him the last 2 years and he has improved on those stats... You have to look at him again this year.

He accounts for at least 40 points a game whether it be scoring or setting up his teammates. Just because he doesn't pass the look test, doesn't mean he is an elite player. No one in the league can do what Nash does, just as no one in the league can do what Dirk, KG, Kobe, Lebron, Arenas, and Anthony do.(Kobe, Lebron, Arenas, and Anthony are all interchangable IMO) If those guys are elite players than so is O Canada.

January 30, 200719 yr Author Career average of 13.8 Points and 7.4 Assists. Quite average if you ask me. I think a lot of it has to do with the situation he was put in. Don't get me wrong I think he is a good player, just not good enough to win the MVP 3 times in a row.

January 30, 200719 yr :confused: :confused: Clearly they're a lot more entertaining than watching the Spurs bore us all out of our minds. I am a fan of fundamental basketball, but I find it hard to watch an entire Spurs game.
