The Double Deuce
7th Grade, I believe Pius wins it all, and is probably never pushed. 8th Grade, I'm honestly not as confident, and I've never seen St. Thomas play (they are the #1 seed from the West?), but I'll say the winner of St. Thomas and St. Joe's Cold Spring will play Sts Peter & Paul in the finals. The Double Deuce
How do they determine which teams are in and which aren't? Based on how they do in their Catholic School Leagues. CovCath hosts the Kenton Co and Boone Co 8th Grade Catholic School league, there is a small school division (that St. Cecilia comes from), and then there is a league at NewCath that all of the Campbell Co. Catholic Schools play in.

The Double Deuce
7th - St. Pius & IHM won 8th - St. Thomas & St. Henry won Wow, St. Henry beat St. Joe's Cold Springs with the Gibson young man? Interesting, and honestly, a little surprising. Do you have the results from the Brossart games as well? Thanks in advance.
The Double Deuce
7th - St. Pius & IHM won 8th - St. Thomas & St. Henry won I haven't seen St. Thomas play, what do you expect in their game vs St. Henry on Saturday (if you were there and saw both games last night)? 3BREDS2B
I do not have the final score for the St. Henry game last night...left the gym early. St. Thomas beat St. Henry in the regular season at NewCath and in the semi-final game of the St. Dominic Tournament. The St. Thomas team starts 3 - 8th graders & 2 - 7th graders...w/7th graders coming off the bench. This should be a very good game.
nkyguy
8th grade results only. As stated above, St. Thomas and St. Henry were victorious. The other side of the bracket St. Paul over St. Mary and SPP over Holy Cross. Should be a good final four. Gibson kid for St. Joe's played really well against the 2 big kids from St. Henry, but turnovers and not being able to handle pressure did them in. nkyguy
St. Henry and St. Thomas have played twice this year, with St. Thomas winning both, but both games were competitive. St. Paul and SPP split the 2 meetings this year, and should go down to the wire again.
