16th Region Tournament Draw

All region tournament games to be played at Ellis Johnson Arena, Morehead State University.

 

First Round

1) Russell vs. Ashland - March 2 at 12:30pm

2) West Carter vs. Rowan County - March 2 at 2:00pm

3) Menifee County vs. Lewis County - March 2 at 6:30pm

4) Boyd County vs. East Carter - March 2 at 8:00pm

 

Second Round

1 vs. 2 - March 3 at 6:00pm

3 vs. 4 - March 3 at 7:30pm

 

Finals

March 4 at 7:00pm

The top half of that bracket is going to be a dogfight getting to the finals. Boyd County should breeze through the bottom half.

I agree DMC, that's what I thought when I seen the draw. Boyd County got it Easy. I still think they should win the Championship game fairly easy as well.

I don't really think it matters who comes out of the top bracket (while it will be 2 very good games) the tournament is Boyd's to lose they will have to have a sub par night and whoever survives the upper bracket will have to play well for the Lions to lose.imo
