Yessssss!!!!!! Ok toughest games then. I say CAL and Anderson are the 2 toughest games. Followed by Highlands and Lex Cath.

15-0 is an awfully tall order to begin with, much less with Highlands on your schedule. I don't know what Danville is looking like for 2019, but I have to think between Danville, CAL, Highlands, Lex Cath, and Anderson County, Boyle is bound to have at least 1 loss going into the playoffs. The most likely loss would be to Highlands.

I disagree with that. CAL will be better than Highlands and Anderson was quite a bit better last year when they played even though they lost. CAL has the most D1 players on the team than anyone we might play. Anderson has some of the best D1 talent and 2 of the best HS running backs in the state. Highlands lost a lot especially on their line where they were already weak. Anderson will be much better this year and Highlands will be worse. CAL should be better as well and they were scary last year. CAL will be the best team we play but Anderson isn’t too far behind and we have to play them twice.

I think Highlands will be the 3rd best team Boyle will play this year, the Birds are no where near the team they were when Dale left I believe Covington Catholic put that into perspective the second time they played Highlands last season, if Boyle takes a loss I expect it to be CAL definitely not Highlands.

Anderson County is better than a Highlands. I was at their game last year. Sounds like you are a Highlands fan so you probably were too. You know then Anderson County was a better team. Highlands isn’t going to be as good this year and Anderson is much better. Easy answer.

Anderson County kept it close with Highlands last season in the playoffs because of field conditions, plain and simple. Highlands isn't used to playing on a trainwreck of a field like that. That was an enormous advantage for the Bearcats. Anderson County had a solid team, they had a home field advantage, and they were much more accustomed to the field conditions, yet they still lost to Highlands. No idea how anyone can say Anderson County was the better team in that situation.

 

Regardless, I'm fine with you thinking your Rebels will beat Highlands. I don't think they will. That's why the game is played, though. In the end, the game means nothing for either team apart from prepping them for the playoffs.

Game time will tell the outcome. I say Boyle beats Highlands. As far as Anderson The field was bad for that game but Anderson has 7 turn overs that lost the game for them. Didn’t look at your seal. Cov Cath should be loaded again this year.

Because I think Boyle will beat Highlands doesn’t mean that Boyle will overlook them, surely you’re not looking for bulletin board material this time of year.

I was at that game. Most people will tell you the same. It’s ok though. Highlands had some big losses to graduation and Anderson gets back one a top 5 athlete in the state that didn’t play that game. We will see. As far as Highlands vs Boyle I can’t wait for that game. I predict a 3 td win by BC.

Time will tell about who’s right and who’s wrong but if you think Highlands is back to where they were when Dale was there I think you’re dreaming.
