Is that how it works? If so, the Crusty Ankles need to go look at the schedules for the first week of our playoffs and go ahead and start planning for next year.

#2 - Auxier RiverRats (7-3) - Missed in 03; in in 04 & 05

#3 - Ga. St. Prison Mean Machine (6-4) - Have never missed the BGP Playoffs

#4 - Kalamazoo Wings (6-4) - Made playoffs in 03; haven't been back

#5 - Paintsville Pythons (7-3) - Never been to playoffs

#6 - Brush Creek Rusty Ankles (6-4) - made playoffs in 05

#7 - Grayson County Swamptrash (5-5) - 2nd year in league; made playoffs in 05

#8 - Louisville Legends (5-5) - made playoffs in 05

 

On the outside looking in at (5-5)

Huggs Thuggs - 3rd year in league; Have never missed the BGP Playoffs

Western Kentucky WarHogs - Made playoffs in 03; haven't been back

 

One game out of the mix at (4-6) - Needs to win out and get some help from the top 10

Florence Fighters - 3rd year in league; Made playoffs in 04

Shelby Cards - never been to playoffs

Southern KY SubVets - Have never missed the BGP Playoffs

West Kentucky Rams - Have never missed the BGP Playoffs

 

Looking to 2007 at (2-8)

Lexington Lumber - only missed playoffs in 05

Richmond nWo Outsiders - only missed playoffs in 05

So we have 3 teams that have been here from the get go and who have never missed the playoffs. One in and two out as it stands right now.

The clock has been off ever since the time change. It was around 9 PM Central when I posted.

 

Trust me, I was in bed way before 11 PM. 4:30 AM comes way to early.

Week #10 Stats Correction: The Elias Sports Bureau reviewed film of the Redskins-Eagles game and changed the ruling on a TD by Correll Buckhalter from a 37 yard Offensive Fumble Recovery TD (off of a reception and fumble by Reggie Brown) to a 55 yard passing TD from Donovan McNabb.

 

My initial thoughts are that Thursday is to late to be changing the stats and the outcome of a game. I'd hate to be the guy that is told on Thursday that you actually lost your game because the stats were changed.

 

What if Elias changes some stats for a week one game? Do we go back and change that also?

 

I can see both sides of the argument, why one team would want the change and the other wouldn't.

 

If we accept this change then the Rusty Ankles go from a 1 point loss to about an 8 point win.

 

Let me hear some input from the teams not involved in this game. What do you think?

The stats dont lie...my team won.

And btw, I can see not changing the stats from a week 1 game. But the fact of the matter is, they caught this fairly quickly. I think if a week (one game) had passed by, I wouldn't even ask for a change...but since no games have passed I think it's only fair for my team to get the win. Because that's what happened...my team won.

 

However, I will understand and support the commish's decision either way. :thumb:

Wow, talk about a tricky situation. This could have big implications for both teams.

 

I think there should be some kind of deadline where a game is final no matter what changes Elias makes. I think in my mind that deadline has always been when waiver wire free agency was closed and open free agency began.

 

In my opinion, because this is a change made after the games have been declared final the game stands as is(sorry HB). I think if you make this change now, then you have to be fair and go back and see if there are any other games affected and make the changes there as well.
