cshs81
What will they do w/out Corey? Why do you ask since Farris is a JR? Or is that what's driving this thread?

3ptshooter
Supposed coaching change. New Head coach maybe? Corey, I don't think will play anything but baseball the next 2 yrs. He has a shot going big and the scouts love him. Some local scouts may have him convinced to work on baseball and not play football to keep him in one piece. Is he a bigger prospect than Tim Grogan was in '02? Grogan played football & baseball and excelled at both. I see no reason why a young man can't play both. Especially since the weight training is similar (actually, almost identical if you're not a pitcher.)

Corey, from what I have heard, is loved by the scouts. Remember, two different positions. Corey has all the tools just has to refine them. Wt. training, IMO, is not similar between baseball and football, at least it wasn't when I was playing.

CC- I think the answer is that Farris is regarded higher than Tim. A fast, LH hitting catcher would probably catch more attention than an infielder.
