Run To State Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Two Original Six teams will clash in the 11th installment of the classic at Notre Dame Stadium Tuesday, January 1st, 1 p.m. on NBC. It will be the Blackhawks' fourth appearance and the Bruins' third. Anyone else plan on watching?
swamprat Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 I was going to, but will be at the Citrus Bowl. Pull for the Hawks and watch out for indiscriminate licking during the game. :puke: Marchand just gives me the willies.

ggclfan Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 So I heard they ran out of food and drink at the game...I wonder how that happens...
swamprat Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 So I heard they ran out of food and drink at the game...I wonder how that happens... I don't think they were expecting over 76,000 for the game. Largest crowd for a Winter Classic, ever. Largest crowd to see an NHL hockey game, ever. Were they serving beer at the game? That normally does not happen in ND Stadium. They probably ran out of mixers, like hot chocolate, coffee, and soda. I've been at football games at Nippert, Doak Campbell, and that thing they call a stadium in Oviedo, where they ran out of food and drink. At UCF, it happened twice.
