Sounds good to me RebelK. Maybe we could start with a few emails as an initial reminder, and then check for any progress in the spring. Do you know any email addresses?

Any other Rebel fans wish to join this illustrious committee?

They don't call me nosey for nothing:D It won't too much trouble to find out what we need. And I am serious....someone needs to keep their toes to the grind stone and make sure that the kids next year don't have to contend with what these kids had to this year. I will get back with you next spring and see what they are up to at that point.

You say its not an excuse and then you use an excuse to say they arent as strong. I agree they are better than some seniors but it was evident that SW was attacking some of our players, ie one cornerback and the middle linebackers, who were both sophmores. Then you throw the ball to a freshman on 4th and 1 with your season on the line and he drops the ball. They sure are more talented but that doesnt mean they play with more heart and desire then others.

As far as the system goes, is it really chuck smith's system anymore? Did the system leave with Chuck Smith 2 years ago? These are honest questions that i dont know the answer to so maybe someone else does because our "down" years have been the 2 years since Smith's departure. Is it just that the talent has been so low that even Smith couldnt have won with this team? All i know next year is that we will bounce back, we will do better, but we still need to congratulate the seniors for what they have contributed to the program.

Three real quick points:

1 They were stronger than our Sophomores and Freshman was not an excuse, it was a fact, and it showed Friday night.

2 The ball that was thrown to a freshman on the 4th and 1 play, was the same Freshman that had already caught around 4 or 5 passes, broken tackles and made some plays. And he also had an Interception inside our red zone where SWP was driving about to score, so I'd say he was as capable as anyone of making a play. This kid can play! And gives as much heart as anyone on the field.

3. The front got physically whipped as well. PSW dominated us up front on Defense and b/c they did that our LB's weren't able to make plays either. Overall, PSW has a very physical team and they just whipped us.

Congrats to them and good luck next week, they have the Senior Leadership that it takes.

Thanks to our seniors for battling back and for the past four years. Younger Rebs, get in the weight room and don't get beat by a more physical team again. That is in your control, attack the weightroom and work to be as good as you want. You control your destiny! We are expecting Big Things from you all!
