Nice win for the Lady Pioneers yesterday!

That’s a close score for SK/Walton! Seems like the 8th is anyone’s region this year? Simon, Walton or Anderson County. The years of SK dominance over or are there some good young players coming up?

They have a lot of young players from what I have heard.

I know SK starts one freshman or sophomore, not sure how old Webb is. But then there are three juniors and one senior that starts so if they have young talent it’s coming off the bench?

Spell check

Webb is a Freshman, one 8th grader, 4 total Freshman and 2 Sophomores on the roster.

One of the most underrated things a program brings is an experienced and smart coach. Simon Kenton will be at the state tournament again this year because of Stowers.

That is a bold prediction. You may be right, but I wouldn't have the guts to say it.

Stowers is a great coach so is his son. .

Maggie Jones had 20 points and Mattie Vickers had 17.

Freshman Webb had 7 points and Freshman Maddie Stamper had 5 points.

It’s a bold prediction to say Simon Kenton will win the region? Maybe you read my comment wrong? I don’t think they will do well at state but there are only maybe 3-4 teams that can challenge SK in the region. Anderson County being the greatest challenge. But I really don’t think it is super bold to predict the team with the hall of fame coach that has won the region the last 3 out of 4 years (and the one loss was a shocking loss to Trimble County) will win it again. You think that SK is that big of an underdog this year?

Misspell

At the end of the day SK wins....Walton rebounds the the ball this one don’t make it to the first overtime and Walton wins.
