Oldham Co will be a big challenge for all in the 8th. They knocked off Anderson on the road. They are legit.

Have got out to watch the girls this year and will be curious to see how they have improved from last year. I know this group will compete so whoever beats them will have to play hard

I don’t see them being in the top tier in the state but certainly should be in the mix for the region.

Maggie Jones had 20 points and Mattie Vickers had 17.

Morgan Stamper had 7. Walton did a good job defending her.

 

I really like Jones also. She is smooth and strong with the ball under defensive pressure, creates for herself and her team mates, and is able to defend out in space on the perimeter. In my opinion, she brings the most overall value to their team. With Niece graduating, Jones is just learning the point guard position, so she is just going to get better and better.
