Randy Parker
56-53 Pendleton early in the 4th, and the Wildcats went on a 12-0 run that happened quick. Liked Bracken's tenacity and effort. Some solid young players on Coach Hinson's squad. Just didn't have the horses to keep up with Dontaie Allen. 6 out of 10 popcorn at The Woodshed tonight. Did you see anything that Bracken could have done to have contained Dontae even a little? Usually a player of his talent has a supporting cast of at least one or two to keep putting up those kind of numbers and Pendleton doesn't have that. Do you see a way of slowing him down ? What kind of defense did Bracken attempt?

He can take over a game at any time. Guess GRC holding him to 9 first half and only 34 for the game was good defense last night.

What kind of defense did Bracken attempt? He could have and often did get any kind of shot he wanted, so I don't think much of that could change to be honest. Bracken played physical with him, which I would have done too, and put more than one defender on him. His size and length were just too much. I like the Polar Bears frontcourt players, in particular. Fisher was good tonight and I really like the Zornes kid. Collin Jefferson had a decent night too. Again, though, just too much Allen. Plus Monroe and Sullivan hit 4 or 5 threes between them. Pendleton's fourth quarter run was quick and really deflated Bracken after they had trimmed it to 3.

What kind of defense did Bracken attempt? Bracken County did a pretty good job guarding him. Most of his points came from putbacks, and free throws. I think the refs got caught up in the game and called 0 fouls on Allen and some of them were blatant. But can’t really do anything about it because that’s how it will be all year. Bracken started off the game down 2-14, and shot 11/22 on free throws, which cost them a win. Great game from Tad Fisher, guarded Dontaie well in 1 on 1 when he was in that situation. Scored 18 points, 11 rebounds, 3/3 from Three.
sumoroyal
If you try to double or even triple team him, you had better not foul him. He doesn't miss very many FT. Against Mason, he always makes about 15 FT.

Oldercoach
Looks like Dontae does what he always does....decided it was time to put the hammer down hard and win the game. Have seen this time after time.

One Great Scorer
See post #3 on Prediction Thread. “Agree 100%. Dontae will work hard to involve all his teammates in the first half. 2nd half he will hammer down and comfortably salt this game away. PC by 20.” You were right except for comfortably salt this game away. It was a 3 point game in the 4th.

Sure missed this one (LOL). It is what Dontae can dictate and does game after game against non-top tier competitors. By the way, he does pretty good against the top tier double/triple team defenses, too.
