November 18, 20187 yr Author On a side note, I don't understand why OSU and Michigan is scheduled for a noon kickoff. This is a big game, should be at night. Don’t get me started RTS. I hate it, but it’s tradition and you won’t convince the administration at either school otherwise. It should 100% be under the lights. But it’s been played at noon every year except in 2006 when it was 1 v 2 and it was at 3:30.

Thank you both for clarifying. I didn't realize it was tradition. I'd still rather it be a night game, but I understand.

I wish they would use them for this game. Some theories are in an extremely cold November in Cbus or AA, a 12:00 kick helps a few degrees. Other theories are it gives both fanbases less time to drink before sharing a stadium lol.

I understand from a liability standpoint how it would be a bad idea to have these two fan bases drink all day and play a game at 8:00, but damn it would be one hell of an environment. I was there in 2016 I started drinking about 7:00 that morning and hit just about every bar on High Street and the walk to the Shoe had me sober in time for Script Ohio. I can’t imagine what it would have been like given 8 more hours to drink. I may not be alive to tell the tale. :lol2:
