Then they also show they are not this upstoppable team that they seem to be currently. Right now they seem like they are this unstoppable train, but that goes away with a lost. It's like Rocky 4, when Drago got cut. If they lose, it shows they are not a machine lol. If Bama loses, then the whole mystique about them possibly being best team of all time goes away. That opens up the door for the discussion then, and with this being a unique year with a chance of possibly two undefeated team. It does set up almost the perfect storm for them to miss the playoffs if that one lost comes in the SEC Championship game to a 1 lost Georgia.

However I just feel this year is setting up to be different than any other year we see, if things hold true. It will be almost the perfect storm needed for a team like Bama to miss it this year, if they were to slip up at the very end. They very well still may be in, but I do think that is the scenario that could happen, that would lead to them not making it.
