Virginia: Allen v. Webb

Featured Replies

Really pivotal race for control of the senate.

The last exit polls had Webb winning rather handily.

I have been refreshing Drudge, and there are 93% of the preceints in and Allen is holding onto a 18k vote advantage.

With just under 90% of the vote, Allen was up over 25k.

Pretty neat to watch.

Jim Webb was in my dad's company at the Naval Academy. Interesting guy apparently . . .

CNN was saying that some of the precincts they're still waiting on went blue in the last Prez election. Unless that's changed since the last time I checked.

The Drudge Report has a running tab on it...pretty cool.

2M+ votes and they're 17K apart.

We won't know the results on this one tonight...looks like an automatic recount unless the northern counties come in heavily for Webb as expected.

Kind a tough race for a guy who had asperations of running for president.

95.7% in...

Lead jumps to 43K...then back to 12K....must have been a typo.

I think if the Dems can win in both Virginia and Missouri, there will be a 49-49 tie in the Senate. The DNC snubbing of Lieberman may have been a fatal mistake.

I thought DD said Lamont would smoke Liberman in the Ct election?

Over 2 mil votes cast and it is that close...unreal.
