Mr.Perfect
Hazard vs. Pikeville act II-will it be the same results or a different ending to this bitter rivary story?
Booge
Pikeville is 20-3 vs. Hazard overall and has never lost to the Bulldogs at Pikeville. Hazard will put up a better fight than the 42-6 drubbing they took 3 weeks ago, but Pikeville has a much better team and should still win by 14-21... Pikeville 34 Hazard

HailToTheChief
Pikeville will win big. This could have been a year with the regular playoff format where District 7 won 3/4 in the first round and Pikeville maybe would have had to play some competition before the Region championship. Good luck to both teams this Friday hope everyone comes out healthy. Seniors play your butts off you never know when it could be your last... One of our boys learned that the hard way last week. CoachJ
This is a very dangerous game for Pikeville...look ahead and an upset is possible. ...and our kids are (hopefully) convinced of this fact too. You used the perfect term -- DANGEROUS. With the style of offense they run, their speed (especially Kidd and Adams), their quickness and play-making ability (especially Hoskins), the fact that they have one of the most impressive physical specimens in the STATE in the Campbell kid, the fact that their qb's last name is OLINGER, and maybe one of the top 5 STRONGEST O/D-lines in 1A football, Hazard is a team our kids KNOW they can't overlook. I'm sure their coaches have pointed out MANY times that when we played last time, we scored on two VERY freak plays: 1 busted play and a qb sneak from 25 yards out...and that they gave us MANY "gifts." I know they'll work on ball security all week and that won't be an issue for them this time. Being a good, EXPLOSIVE team getting a REVENGE shot at a team that they feel beat them in a game where the margin of victory didn't actually represent the difference between the two teams, our kids know that in a way they actually have an ADVANTAGE this week. I do know this...if we win this week, it'll be a huge testament to the CHARACTER of our football team and proof that they RESPECTED Hazard as a team that is VERY capable of beating them.
