Trinity was competitive against a murderer's row of out of state competition but lost twice to in state teams and seem to be a long shot to get back to the grocery in 2018.

 

Madison Southern finished 2 - 8 after losing a championship caliber team to graduation.

 

Danville finished 4 - 6 never finding the continuity or rhythm that would get them over the hump this season.

 

Of these three teams, who returns to greatness the fastest? Will any of them get past the second round of the playoffs? And which team will regain there championship form the soonest?

I dont think Trinity is a long shot at all to get back to the grocery. They are the clear favorite to win their region. Meaning they will be in the state semi finals before they have to play either St. X or Male. So they have a pretty good shot of not only making it but still being able to win it all.

Trinity will, at least, be playing in the Regional Finals. If they are as healthy as I've read, that's probably underselling them a bit.
