Michigan vs Penn State. Ohio State is writing their playoff bid on this game. Michigan must win. Every game for ND matters every game is must win.

What exactly could Ohio State do to have changed any of that? Even if they beat Purdue they would still only have 1 win over a team with a winning record. Is it somehow OSUs fault that TCU sucks? Sometimes that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

But, as it stands, they should (we both know they won't) fall in line behind all other 1 loss teams from P5 schools. They just don't play anyone because the B1G is such trash.

Bama gets beat in the title game by one loss UGA or UK and the SEC is most likely to get 2 in again.
October 31, 20187 yr Never said it was their fault. But, as it stands, they should (we both know they won't) fall in line behind all other 1 loss teams from P5 schools. They just don't play anyone because the B1G is such trash. So everyone that’s not in the SEC is trash? If you’re using the SEC in 2018 as the measuring stick then yeah the Big 10 isn’t great in comparison. But in the end what does it matter? Ohio State is still Ohio State, Michigan is still Michigan. It doesn’t matter who they play or who they beat. If they take care of business they are going to be in. Right or wrong, teams that have championship level talent and championship winning coaches have built up the cache and will get the benefit of the doubt more often than not. That’s just the world we live in.

October 31, 20187 yr I don't think that's the case at all. OSU could win out and still get left out. Bama gets beat in the title game by one loss UGA or UK and the SEC is most likely to get 2 in again. Bama losing is the scenario most likely to keep OSU out if they do win out. I’ll agree with that. 1 loss Bama gets in over 1 loss OSU. Even then it would just take a ND loss to bump OSU back in. In the end if OSU takes care of business there will be a spot for them unless the perfect circumstance takes place that keeps them out which would be Alabama losing to Georgia/ UK and ND remaining undefeated. It’s tough for me to say both of those will come true much less one.

It's really their bad luck TCU stinks as it took what should should be a great win and made it mostly meaningless. What is OSU's fault is getting smoked by an average Purdue team.
