Do you keep your starters in?

Let the Srs play out the stretch, last time most will play any form of organized football.

Let the seniors play until the last down.

Seems like most people look at it the same way I do. Let the starters (who are primarily seniors) play out the game and worry about letting the back ups get some experience next year. If there are seniors who are not starters, get them into the game as soon as its out of reach to give them some time.

If its a blow out put freshman in at the last minute other wise its up to the coach

The only problem I had with ****** playing their starters the whole game was when the running back from ****** would showboat and talk trash after a good run.

I substituted the original team name because this drives me nuts when it happens from any team. I have seen several games this year where the starters (and in some cases the 2nd team) have been pulled while an opponents starters stay in and then start having some success. The trash talking then starts. Luckily I'm not a coach because as soon as that happened I would put the starters back in and show the trash talkers WHY they were now having success. IMVHO it is every bit as low brow and classless for a coach to allow his starters to talk trash when the other team has called of the dogs as it is to run up the score.

Mercers starters have played in the 4th quarter only twice this year. I personally worry about this fact when they inevitably face teams with equal talent in the next few weeks...

That is one fact that does concern me too.

Let the Seniors play thier final game.
