strike-3
Someone needs to give him a ladder to catch what Carson is throwing his way... Your right about that. Carson hung him out to dry, on that INT that was returned. But Chad has been less than spectacular this season.
stick1
Someone needs to give him a ladder to catch what Carson is throwing his way... No doubt Carson was throwing the ball high all day. I still think that there are two problems.... one Chad Johnson isn't getting open like one of the best WR's in the game and two they aren't calling enough plays early to get him the ball to somewhat get him and the offense going. Look at Steve Smith last year, the Panthers simply raised up and threw him the ball on the first step to let him make plays. If you can't pass pro long to throw the ball downfield (although TJ was open deep several times) then get the ball out quick and let your guys make plays. I can tell you from playing DB back in the day that when teams start throwing short it is annoying because no matter how good you are two things can end up happening: 1. You miss a tackle and those guys are gone. 2. It opens up the deep game. I wish they would at least make an effort to get him going early. He is a different player when he gets going early.
