What assitant coach would be the next great Head Coach??????

My thought would be Mike Zuckerman at Lafayette. He's the Def. Cordinator whose def help lead Lafayette to an undefeated season and he is the Head Coach of the Horseman who lost in Chapionship game in the Indoor league

He not the defensive coordinator at Lafayette he is an offensive coach there.

He isn't the DeCo, but he and Harmon make one heck of a pair when it comes to coaching football. I think the whole Lafayette staff is one of the best all around staffs in the state.

Todd Walsh of St. X

Jeff Bowles of Bullitt East

Chad Lewis of John Hardin

Terry Bean of Trinity

Jerry Lucas of Shelby County

** All of these guys do a wonderfull job!!

Brad Lawson of Mayfield. He is the defensive coordinator and he will make someone a very good head coach someday.

Jerry Lucas from Shelby Co would have to get my vote.

Nick Wilson of Bellevue. He's young, the kids like him and he really contributed to the offensive side of the ball.

Speaking of Bellevue, I think Dave Pelgen would be a great head coach too. He demands the best of his player and will follow in the defensive footsteps of Bellevue's DeCo.

Gary Fannin & Gerad Parker from Raceland.

I think just about any coach that comes out of Mike Glaser's camp at X would be good somewhere.

The same is true for assistant coaches at Male. The good news for Redman is that so many of his coaches are loyal to him but I also know that many good coaches that have previously worked under Redman have gone on to good careers as Head Coaches (I can think of two at least...Curtis Higgins @ Trigg Co and the Former Western High coach, Brian "Red" (cant think of his last name).

Having said that (and I am a little biased because of my affiliation to his father), I think that Larry Williams at Iroquois would be a good head coach somewhere. A former Assistant coach under Redman and current offensive coordinator at Iroquois, I've seen what he can put together. Players seem to love to play in his Spread style offense, and despite playing in a district where they were overmatched, they had a lot of success against non-district opponents, going 4-1 and outscoring their opponents 147-32. Good kid, good coach and I would love to see his offense somewhere he has some talent to work with.
