Owensboro’s defense stepped up its game vs. Bowling Green, but the offense couldn't put any points on the board in in the 2nd half of a 21-12 loss. Daviess County (3-1) put up 20 points on Hancock County in the 1st quarter before the game was halted due to lightning. Joey Cambron threw for 307 yards and 4 TDs in the Panthers’ 33-27 win last year, DC’s first over the Red Devils since 2004.

Great game right here. Going with the team with the momentum right now although it could go either way!

I think Owensboro's the more complete team, but what Drew Hartz and his receivers did to the Red Devils' secondary a couple of weeks ago gives me pause. You know Cambron will be slingin' it all over the place on Friday. And I think Warren can match Cambron in arm talent. They've both got plenty of weapons to distribute the ball to. I'm expecting a shootout.

Alot of factors in this one: #1: How is Owsley's health? I heard he got banged up early in the BG game and #2: will Diamond Glover play? With no Glover and a banged up Owsley I'll take Daviess Co. If both of these guys are good to go, I think OHS changes up some personnel in the secondary and gets the win 35-28 over DC.

Great games in the city this week. This one has all the makings. DC is coming off a big upset of OHS last season. Coach Brannon really raised the expectations and built confidence within their program over the last few years. Meanwhile, OHS comes in angry from last years defeat. I think both teams will have opportunities to put up points. Whoever plays the best defense and makes the least amount of mistakes will win it.
