Which 4 seed has the best chance ove a 1 seed?

Featured Replies

Okay, they have seen each other before. Which 4 seed has the best chance at the upset.

Class A

-McLean County over Metcalfe County, just because they beat them last week

Cass AA

-Garrard County over Corbin, because I want to have faith that my trip will be worth it! (its not)

Class AAA

-Calloway County over Paducah Tilghman, because neither team is that good

-North Bullitt over Central, because they can control the ball/clock

-Harrison County over Lexington Catholic, because they always play them tough

-Boyd County over Johnson Central, because the Eagles always lay an egg

Class AAAA

-Campbell County over Boone County, because that whole district is competitive

-Woodford County over Lafayette, because a small part of me still isn't sold on the Generals

-Madison Central over Lincoln County, because the Patriots haven't been here in a while

-Calloway County over Paducah Tilghman, because neither team is that good
Interesting assessment. Tighman hammered Calloway 41-7 a couple of weeks ago, and I would say the Tornado's 5-5 record might be a little misleading because of the team's youth and tough schedule.

Tilghman may not be a state contender, but I think your evaluation of them is a bit harsh.

Campbell County over Boone County looks like a possibility ...

It's going to be very difficult for the Camels to beat the Rebels twice in the same season.

You're right, my bad. I was thinking about the Hopkinsville-Calloway score (45-21 @ Hoptown).

And you know, westsider, I haven't been to western Kentucky any this season! Of course, picking a team that has won two games in the two years prior to this was probably dumb, especially since they are playing a team that annually does well in the playoffs. Seemed like my predictions needed some more oomph! :D

And it always seems like Boone County is playing their best football in November.

Actually, the Hoptown-Calloway game wasn't much closer ... I think Hoptown led 31-0 at one time.

Calloway has made some improvement ... until they laid an egg against Tilghman, I thought the Lakers would beat Madisonville and end up as the #3 seed. Their lack of speed really hurts when they run into Tilghman and Hoptown.

The best odds of it happening in 2A looks to be...

Webster Co. vs. Caldwell Co. - poor performances the last 2 weeks could indicate Caldwell may have peaked too early.

Elizabethtown could hang with Western, also, but a LOT of things have to go right for E-town and wrong with Western.

Where da cluck at?

I think Campbell Co beats Boone Co because Campbell Co is the better team.

I really doubt Madison is going to stop the run that the Patriots are having right now.

I'm pretty sure the question asked who had the best chance. It said nothing (and neither did I) about these upsets actually happening. Relax, patriot, and...welcome to the site.

Just thinking that Johnson Central has won two playoff games in their history. Sure, the Golden Eagles have a nice team this year, but until they make some noise in November, I don't have faith in them...yet!
